Well the Central
coast Rockfish
"Season"
is under way.

We decided to take
a long range all-day
trip
Targeting bigger fish
So We set out early
headed for morro Bay
California.
It was to be a 12 hr trip
The weather & ocean
conditions were great
when We got there.
So We head out for Our
3 hr boat trip. Reach the
first spot set up on our
first drift. Instantly hit on
nice big reds and some
Huge johnny Bass.

We we're fishing large baits and 8 0z jigs with teasers. We both
ended up with some quality fish on that spot, then hit another
spot and instantly the whole boat hooked up big reds with lots
of doubles! Then to 40 ft water targeting lings, with lite gear and
swimbaits. The boat landed a few keeper lings, then We head
out back to port with full limits of quality fish. All in All another
great day in Morro bay!
